Kelowna to England, France, or Ireland - $181 to $272 CAD roundtrip including taxes

July
WestJet is showing what appears to be mistake fares from Kelowna to London, England or Paris, France or Dublin, Ireland for between $181 and $272 CAD roundtrip including taxes..
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Calgary.
It's always tough to know if tickets will be issued in a situation like this, so proceed with caution and keep the expectations low. If you do attempt to book these, do not book anything non-refundable for at least 48 hours.
WestJet's mistake fares to Europe seem to pop up every few years. Sometimes they've worked out, other times they haven't.
These are also working from:
Kamloops (YKA)
Penticton (YYF) -- seems to be $90 more
Update @ 10:45 AM PST
This could be over. I haven't seen any cheap ones from any origins in a while. If you still do, comment below!
Tip for those who booked this
- If your confirmation code contains a mix of letters and numbers, it won't work on the WestJet site. That's not a WestJet confirmation code. WestJet's codes are all letters. Some have received an e-mail from ACCELYA with their 'letters only' code. Others have been contacting FlightHub through the live chat function to ask for their 'all letters' WestJet confirmation code and can log into the WestJet site to see their reservation.
Update Wednesday
Well, this story has made it into the National Post and the Calgary Herald.
On Twitter, WestJet has been shifting the blame to FlightHub.
But for some reason FlightHub's account was suspended. Not sure what they said to cause that, or if it's related...
In the Calgary Herald article "WestJet told Postmedia it became aware of the issue last Friday, saying it originated from an update to the airline’s computer system that caused fares to display incorrectly on some third-party websites."
Depending on the numbers, one would think WestJet could swoop in and play the hero here and parlay this into some positive media exposure and word of mouth at a cost that would be relatively small compared to a typical media campaign. Especially considering the smaller markets around B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Winnipeg that were involved and are typically harder to reach when it comes to marketing flights to Europe.
Update Tuesday @ 10:30 AM PST

Update Sunday @ 1:30 PM PST
Sorry that I could not update earlier. The fallout happened just as I was leaving for a camping trip, and I did not have Internet during the weekend.
On Friday evening, WestJet cancelled these tickets, despite the fact that tickets had already been issued.
Personally, I think either WestJet or one of their data providers is to blame here (they are blaming each other). FlightHub is just caught in the middle. I was seeing similar price errors coming from WestJet on EasyJet's website during the same period of time, which FlightHub has no involvement with.
About the only thing that can help in this situation is media coverage. Some of you may recall WestJet changing their mind and deciding to honour the fares they cancelled during the SellOffVacations / WestJet error fares in February of 2020. But then of course the pandemic hit, and most didn't get a chance to use them anyways.

I just booked Kelowna to Paris, but the reservation code I was sent by the Flighthub seems to be invalid with WestJet
Same here.
I see that they've issued ticket numbers in the email though. Does that mean the tickets have been issued and we are safe to book hotels etc?
I've never booked through Flighthub before!
Was in the middle of booking and site crashed
I was looking for the Japan deal one post down, and looks the same: I can find the deal on FlightHub but not on Westjet directly. In fact, searching again now I don't see it on FlightHub either. Wouldn't trust FlightHub.
It's still best to wait 24-48 hours before booking anything else.
If you have a eTicket ticket number that means the airline actually issued the ticket, and is the best outcome in a mistake fare situation.
But you still want to wait a little longer, in case the airline involved decides to cancel the tickets and issue a refund. They usually reach that decision within 24 hours.
WestJet, if you're listening, some of these smaller airports have never had a great deal to Europe in the entirety of their existence. Let them have this. You'll win back some hearts in the west.
For those with the issue of their confirmation code not working...
Tip from someone on the Vancouver site: Wait for another email soon from ACCELYA. Looks like Flighthub booked through ACCCELYA and the new alpha only code will come.
Have also been seeing people mention they contacted FlightHub (live chat agent) for their 'all letters' confirmation code.
I booked Kelowna -> Paris in oct/nov and got an initial Westjet confirmation code in the email from FlightHub (with Westjet ticket numbers), but the code in the email was not valid on Westjet's site. I started a chat with FlightHub's virtual assistant and they gave me my actual Westjet Confirmation code, which is valid and shows my itinerary on Westjet's site! Fingers crossed this all remains in place. Thanks for the great find Chris!
I also just got my proper westjet confirmation through flighthub chat (took about 10 min) and it is showing in my WJ app now.
Thanks for all the tips! I really hope this works out!
Booked to Dublin at first the WestJet code was not valid but then another code was issued to my member number and showing in my WestJet trip accounts. So very excited!!! Thank you Chris!!!
After receiving our tickets and verifying with westjet, all of our flights were cancelled by flight hub this evening with no email notice. Had to log in to see it!
Booked Kelowna to London. Received confirmation thru Flight hub. This evening received notice that the reservation has been cancelled with full refund.
Booked Kelowna to paris. Received email from Flighthub last night saying WestJet cancelled it
My friend booked Dublin. Was confirmed through WestJet app then got email advising of their error today on mis advertised rates and cancelled her trip
