Here's a spreadsheet of every nonstop ('direct') flight from Kelowna to somewhere with a beach, sorted by the number of hours to fly there

I've created a spreadsheet that lists every nonstop ('direct') flight from Kelowna to somewhere with a beach, sorted by the number of hours it takes to fly there.
Admittedly, from Kelowna, there are only 4 such destinations and probably doesn't require a spreadsheet. And those living in Kelowna already *have* a beach.
But in the same spreadsheet you can also find the same info for all other major cities in Canada, which might help with planning trips alongside friends or family members from different cities.
The spreadsheet also lists the scheduled airlines, as well as the days of the week you can find the nonstop flights.
And yes, there is a difference between a nonstop flight and direct flight. But pretty much everyone, outside of the travel industry, uses the word 'direct' to mean a flight with zero stops.

NOTE:
Depending on your browser, Google Sheets may start you off in the wrong worksheet (Calgary). You may need to click on Kelowna (YLW) at the top or bottom of the spreadsheet.
You should see a list of different Canadian cities to choose from at the top or bottom of the spreadsheet.
Things It Might Be Useful For
• If you live in the Kelowna area, as I mentioned there are only 4 destinations with a beach that you can reach with a direct flight. Meanwhile Vancouver and Calgary each have around 24 such destinations. Toronto has 60. The larger the city, the more options there are.
So if you're looking to coordinate a beach vacation with a friend or family member that lives somewhere else in Canada you may want to start by looking at the available destinations from the city with the least number of options.
However, smaller cities with fewer options may be able to find a connecting flight through one of Canada's 4 hub cities: Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal.
Try searching for flights from smaller cities using the same days of the week that the airlines fly from those larger hub cities. This will give you the best chance of finding a 1-stop flight through Canada.
• If you're looking into package deals, such as all inclusive packages, those packages will have direct flights on the same days shown in this spreadsheet.
For example, if Sunwing has direct flights on Fridays, you'll be able to find an all inclusive package with Sunwing Vacations on a Friday that also has direct flights.
The same goes for WestJet / WestJet Vacations. And Air Canada / Air Canada Vacations.
